Happy Fish is building a pure relaxation machine: a coloring game where you fill glass-like luminous dots across 30 levels with embossed 3D visuals. Finish a level and it auto-plays back your coloring process, a small touch that turns a quiet session into something satisfying to watch. It is designed to pick up and put down anytime, aimed at all ages. If you want a low-stakes palate cleanser between heavier games, this is the kind of Steam simulator that flies under the radar until word of mouth catches up. Lands August 2.

3. Garlic Ramen Shop Simulator (Aug 2, 2026)
IShun's cooking sim hands you a garlic ramen shop and a stopwatch. You handle prep, cooking, and serving solo against a limited clock, tuning broth intensity, noodle portions, and topping amounts on every order. The pitch is mastering an overwhelming kitchen to build a legendary shop, which reads like a tight time-management loop rather than a sprawling tycoon game. 4. Guardian Heart (Aug 2, 2026)
Sequal's tower defense game leans on variety: multiple playable races, each with a distinct playstyle, and 40 unique heroes to deploy. You recruit and fuse soldiers into legendary warriors, learn each faction's mechanics, and defend the World Tree against encroaching darkness. The fusion system and race-swapping give it more depth than a standard lane-holding defender, and strategy fans looking for replayability should keep an eye on it. It arrives August 2 on Steam with essentially no community buzz yet, which makes it a genuine early find.

5. Cavernreach (Aug 2, 2026)
From Deep Rock Games (not to be confused with the Deep Rock Galactic crew) comes a first-person, story-driven cave exploration game. A routine expedition turns into something far more complex as you descend into the unknown, and the description keeps the specifics deliberately vague. That premise leaves plenty of room for tension in the dark, and atmospheric descent stories can hit hard when they nail pacing.
