Konami is already planning more Silent Hill games beyond the three it has shipped since reviving the series, with producer Motoi Okamoto describing "second and third waves" of releases still to come.
Speaking to Famitsu, Okamoto said the company views Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall as its "first wave." Townfall, the most recent of the three, launched on September 23, 2026 for PC and PS5, according to Gamebonk's release tracker. Okamoto said all three games made it out the door and were well received, which left the team feeling relieved.
"Successfully launching this 'first wave' comes with great relief, but we're not stopping here; we must think of the second and third waves," Okamoto said. He declined to name anything specific, adding that Konami is "currently looking at a number of projects."
The revival began with a single announcement in 2022, Eurogamer notes, when Konami revealed Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill f, Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill Ascension and the film Return to Silent Hill together. Silent Hill: The Short Message followed as a surprise release. PC Gamer points out that the three main games arrived in as many years, each to positive reviews and, as far as anyone outside Konami can tell, solid sales.

Okamoto had to push past a single remake
Okamoto also described how hard it was to persuade Konami's leadership to back the series again. PC Gamer reports that the cancellation of Hideo Kojima's Silent Hills in 2015 loomed over those conversations. Even after getting the Silent Hill 2 remake approved, Okamoto said he believed "one remake is not enough."
His worry was about perception. With only a single release, he asked, "wouldn't people think that the development is going to be cancelled again"? Committing to several games at once was meant to signal that the series was genuinely back.
In earlier comments cited by Eurogamer, Okamoto said the guiding rule for the revival is to protect a strong psychological horror story while leaving room to change how each game plays. He pointed to Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill f and Townfall as three very different styles of game built around that same narrative core.

Bloober's remake of the original is the one known project
Only one future Silent Hill game is public so far. Bloober Team, which handled the Silent Hill 2 remake, is now remaking the 1999 original, a project Konami announced in June 2025.
Whether the other revival studios will return has not been confirmed, according to PC Gamer. That includes NeoBards Entertainment, which made the Japan-set Silent Hill f, and Screen Burn Interactive, the developer behind Townfall and its Scottish setting of St Amelia. Eurogamer gave Townfall four out of five stars in its review.
